LG’s next flagship smartphone has it all to set it apart from the league — an AI Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa — or perhaps even both and a new Quad DAC to make it sound even better than LG V20. And to keep all these high-end features running, the phone will be equipped with a 3200mAH battery touted to be the largest in the company’s G series devices.
“The LG G6 is equipped with a high capacity battery of 3200mAh,” LG senior official was quoted by Etnews as saying.
Uptil now it was LG G4, in the G series, to boast of a maximum capacity battery of 3000mAH followed by G5 which flaunts a 2800mAh battery.
The G6 is equipped with a battery whose capacity has been increased by more than 400mAh and it can last for upto 12 hours in running mode. With G6, LG has opted for an integrated battery abandoning the existing detachable type battery.

LG Electronics says that it has increased battery capacity while ensuring consumers’ safety at the same time. For this, the company has put in place a new technology that will enable LG G6’s battery to not overheat even at temperatures as high as 150 degrees. The new technology makes use of heat pipes made of copper to easily disseminate heat.

With a combination of a massive battery and Snapdragon 821 processor, LG G6 fits in a strong assortment of internal hardware. The phone comes equipped with a 5.7-inch screen (1440×2880 pixels) bezel-less, QHD LCD panel. It is a beneficiary of Android 7.0 Nougat OS accompanied with dual rear camera set-up, waterproof build, wireless charging.
The launch date of LG G6 isn’t very far with the company planning to release it on February 26th. Can’t wait to get our hands on it!
