[Updated Daily] Download Android Nougat Gapps (7.0 & 7.1.1)

The final developer preview for Android Nougat 7.0 update is out, and Google has announced the release date for the official release of Android Nougat to be the end of Summer 2016, which will be sometime in the month of September.

As soon as Android Nougat update is out for the Nexuses, Google will also release AOSP (Android Open Source Project) source code for Android 7.0 within the next few days. And once source code for Android 7.0 is out, a number of AOSP based Android Nougat custom ROMs will be releasing, most popular of them being the CyanogenMod 14 (CM14) ROM.

Why do you need Nougat Gapps?

Since AOSP based ROMs don’t come with Google services pre-installed, you need to manually install them by flashing a compatible Gapps package from TWRP or any other custom recovery.

Android Nougat Gapps will come in handy if you’re installing an Android 7.0 based AOSP ROM like CM14. We’ll releasing the first set of Android Nougat Gapps once factory images of Nougat update is available for supported Nexus devices.

Android Nougat Gapps will be available in various sizes, from a small/minimal package of 80-90MB to full-blown 400MB size zips.

Installing Android 7.0 Nougat Gapps is similar to flashing any .zip file from a custom recovery. If you’re on TWRP, simply go to install menu and select the Nougat Gapps package you downloaded on the device. Check out the guide below for detailed instructions to flash Android 7.0 Gapps.
